How it all begin? One sentence changed my entire life “Sir, I want to help…” – Lucas, 2006
I started with 0, one sentence changed my life, with the help of Chong, I found my interest. I choose my future.
New computer teacher came replacing the old teacher in year 2006, I remember I was in the SSM Lab at that time, using the computer in the middle of the lab, Mr. Chong was just in front of me, Mou Seng on my left. As usual, he introduced himself, tell basics about computer. Sum’s Itchy hands login in ssm router. Abang d’Sum was using the same router at home, so he know the default username and password of that router. Naughty sum boy boy, mess up in the router, main main, click click. From Chong’s face, I can see that, he is thinking “this guy(sum zai) must know something about computers)”.
After the class, Chong said he need help from students to setup the pcs in the lab, he pointed at sum. i was not in the list. I stood up and go to Chong and said, “Sir, I want to help” so during lunch time, i spend my time in the lab, and help Chong, I remember Sum didn’t appear. That’s how i started my first lesson on computer, May 2006. I spend many hours in the lab every day, I skipped many classes. Sometimes i go to school, I go directly to the lab for the whole day, my classmates don even know that i came to school, attendance 0. I skipped many classes. One of the reason why my spm results sucks. but i did not regret for that.
If i did not meet Chong, i wont be taking IT course, I might be some other things else, I might have joined the army, or learn how to direct movies. I CREATED Lucas with computer knowledge, I CHOOSE it.
